123. What if a character from the book comes to life?

The other night I was reading the Amelia Bedelia book, when my mom told me to put out the light and go to sleep. And as I remember doing this correctly, I put the book on my nightstand and went to sleep. The next day, I saw my book, and I decided to read it after I freshened up. When I came back and looked at the pages, I noticed that were no pictures! And I know what you are thinking, big deal, all the pictures are missing. But the story that I am about to tell you, will really shock you!!!! And the only way for you to really understand it, is to start the story from the beginning. Tape Rewinds:

In the morning, I woke up as usual and tidied up. I looked at my nightstand and got ready to read my copy of the Amelia Bedelia book when…Aaaaahhhhh!!! The book... had… no… pictures!!! I knew that it was a mistake so I went to the living room, and once again, I screamed! Aaaaahhhhh!!! But, this time it was strange cause for me to scream and I will tell you what had caused me to scream. I was in the living room with Amelia Bedelia staring at me. I was completely astonished! And in my mind. I had been thinking of what to do, and I finally did!! Since in all the Amelia Bedelia books, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers hire Amelia as their personal maid, I shall do the same!!!

Her first task was to “draw the drapes from the beam of sunlight entering the furniture”, and, to my horror, she didn’t close the drapes, but she drew them! My costly furniture was now faded and looked dull! I thought that she was joking around, so I gave her another task and this one was to make apple pie. I left for an afternoon snack and I wished I hadn’t because, Amelia Bedelia had dropped the pie!! I screamed and yelled in fury, and asked her, do you know the value of the pie! She said yes, and she said that the value of 𝝅 is 3.14! I was now aggravated! I told Amelia Bedelia to step back and she stepped all the way back and fell into my costly utensils and they shattered to pieces! I said, That’s Enough, Amelia Bedelia.

After a while I asked her to “change the towels”, and to put out fancy ones, and, to my horror, she cut them all into strips! My costly towel was now changed to a pile of strips by her way of usual understanding, and, Amelia Bedelia cut them in just a second! I thought that she was kidding, so I gave her another task and this one was to dust the furniture. I left for a quick nap and I wished I hadn’t because, Amelia Bedelia had literally put dust all over the furniture!! I screamed and yelled in fury, but she just looked really puzzled, so I calmed myself down, and asked her why she dusted the furniture. And she politely replied you asked me to do so.

And when I said it out loud it finally made sense!! I went to the library and searched frantically for Amelia Bedelia's books, and when I finally did, I flipped through the pages, and I found out all the misunderstood things that Amelia Bedelia had done. I went back to the living room and I said “Amelia Bedelia, you have to go back into your book!” I showed her the book and she screamed “No”!! She went back into the book and I heard a strange Buzzing and it was my Fit Bit, and then, I realized that it was all a dream. And I also realized that Amelia Bedelia should not have been in real life because she is supposed to be in a book as a fictional character, and if Amelia really did come in real life, it would be catastrophic

122. Olive’s Birthday

Alexandra’s sister, Olive has a birthday party today! When Alexandra woke up, she checked the mailbox, and found herself a newspaper! She opened it up and it was a picture of a skyscraper! She went upstairs to do her homework about poison ivy when she remembered that tomorrow was her class field trip to the sea, so everyone needed life jacket. She was at page number twenty-two when her mom called out, make sure your appearance is presentable, because no one wants to see a dress with watermelon stains, anyone would like to see a dress that looks like a masterpiece! It took Alexandra almost forever to get into everything, her dress, shoes and accessories. Alexandra sometimes forgot to wear earrings, so, this time, she made sure she didn’t leave her room without it. She looked outside and remembered that her sister’s birthday was near to the United Skates of America, which was used as a landmark. Alexandra went outside to Olive’s birthday party and she had an extraordinary time.

121. Alone in the Desert

Alone in the desert, I was thirsty, starving, and most of all, no humans!! I closed my eyes and had the visions of the joyful moments before the crash of the plane, friends, family, the excitement. It has come to be this way because of a horrendous plane crash! I was among 174 people and we were on our way to Hawaii when… Crash!!! All of the passengers, including me, were stranded in The Sonoran Desert in Arizona!! 

I was in the airport with all my friends who were, Rarity, Alexandra and my best friend Oksana. We were all going on a vacation to Hawaii and we were so excited! We all saw our parents and hugged them and said that we would surely miss them. Right that second, we heard our airplane number called, and we arrived just in time. I sat next to the window with Oksana, and Alexandra sat with Rarity. We were all talking about where we should first go when we got to Hawaii, when BLAST! CRASH!! KABOOM!!! I quickly escaped from the airplane and dragged my friends and two other people behind me and then the plane had blasted!! I guessed that the fuel tank had exploded and had caused the whole plane to detonate.                            

The next thing I know we were all in a desert. I looked around and realized that the plane had crashed, there were debris everywhere! I looked at my best friends and they were all far from being alive! I looked at Oksana and she had ghastly injuries. I saw her and my eyes completely filled with tears! I then set off to find the 5 things that a human being needs to survive, namely water, food, shelter, warmth, and self-defenses.              

                                                 

As I remember, in science, humans can go up to three weeks without eating food, 3 days without drinking water, and three hours without any shelter. I decided to make a shelter and I had no luck, luckily, I found a cave, and made a home. My next priority is to find water, I had a little pocket knife so I cut a fish hook cactus which is not poisonous unlike all other cacti which cause vomiting and sickness. And I safely opened the fish hook cactus and I found water, and got a few gallons of water, which is enough to last us for about a month. Lastly, food, me and my friends brought some food in case we didn’t like the airplane food. I got all of the food and I went to eat along with my friends. With the first aid kit from the plane, and I did some first aid stuff for my friends and the two other people I rescued from the crashed plane.

Night came and it was starting to get cold, I wrapped my coat around me and I felt warm. I watched at the marvelous sight and I wondered if I would ever see the scenery again. I became mesmerized at looking at the stars and I finally fell asleep. I kept this as my routine and continued this for a week. One day, I was getting tired of being deserted in the desert so I went out to get some help.

                                                       

As I was wandering around, I spotted a helicopter and decided to wave for help. I don’t know if they noticed me, yet, I kept waving. I stopped when they saw me, and I was given a ladder to climb. When I was at the top, I was safely examined to make sure that I was not hurt. Then when we were about to leave, I asked them if I could bring my friends and two other survived passengers, and they said yes, I went over there, and I saw my friends. I dragged them over to the helicopter and they were carefully aboard when one of the people said that they couldn’t fit one more. I told them to go on without me and come back.

                                         

   

I said no problem and saw them drift away, I lay stranded in the desert and lived until my days had come. I know that I had done the right thing by letting my friends go before me. I hope that they all remember me, especially my best friend Oksana.
