Paint & Vino

It was
Saturday, and my dad said that we’re going to participate in the Paint &
Vino, and that we were going to paint on a canvas. Along with us, our family
friends, Jan and Bev, joined us. We reached the place 15 minutes before it
actually started. There, my dad introduced to me a few more friends. We found
our spot and began painting.
Our instructor told us about the different
kinds of brushes, and I soon decided to do my own thing, and everyone followed,
but we soon discovered that we were supposed to follow what they are teaching
and me and my dad followed in pursuit. We were supposed to do a rainbow spiral
with a big, white dot in the middle, and there were trees and dots all around. In
the middle of the white dot, we were supposed to do a yoga sign.
In the end, I did a yin-yang sign,
and my dad did the Tamil sign for Om. My mom did a pretty rainbow flower, Jan
drew a tropical scene with a cat in the middle, and Bev also drew a tropical
scene, with a sailboat in the middle. In the middle of painting, we drew
raffles and unfortunately we didn't win :( . We all took a break and ate
pretzels and nachos with spicy bean dip!
My time at Paint and Vino was
interesting, but it was most importantly fun. I hope we do it again, but next
time, I think that I will wait for instructions!!!
