99. The Giver

Book Report
Author: Lois Lowry

The Giver is a very positive-charged and suspenseful novel as a 13-year-old Jonas as the giver, learns that he has a big role in taking responsibilities and that he faced some tasks that he had never done.

He meets the previous Giver and he gives Jonas all of the information day by day. The Giver teaches Jonas words by making him feel what they mean.

Jonas finally understands all of the information and he knows that he has an important and powerful responsibility in helping the world become a better place.

97. Summer Camp Experience - 2016

Myself and my family went to register me for the summer camp at the Cranston Parks and Recreation Club. I was registered for summer camp at Garden City!

They gave me the red shirt that we should wear throughout camp except special days like at the end of summer camp where you have to wear your camp colors.

We also asked if there were other activities during summer camp, and they told us that there was the Living Art Theater, where we had one week to learn the Little Mermaid show on August 1,2016 to August 6,2016

We registered the program for me and I could not wait. In June 27,2016 because summer camp started on that day! We went home, and as soon as lightning, summer camp was here!

I went to summer camp and it was a very fun experience because I got to play with my friends and I went to fun places like Chris Poulos Free Style BMX Performance where a bicyclist did awesome tricks on his bicycle.

We also did Kid Karaoke ta hope highlands and it was very fun and enjoyable. And there is one day at Brayton fields where we were doing WATER WARS!! I got really wet that day.

We also went to golf at Mulligans Island and I got a hole in one! We also went to Legion Bowl and I got two spares and one split!

One day we went to Budlong Pool where I learnt how to do a cartwheel, flips and dives all under water! I was really happy when I learnt all of that stuff in one day!!

The next day we went to Water Slides Yawgoo where I went on the big slide three times! I was having fun, but we had to leave.

But the next day was even more fun we went to Spring Lake! Me and my friends went to the slide ten times, then we went to the nearby park and we played there for about three minutes then we went back in the water.

One day we had to go to a gymnastics center where we did flips jumps and even the Aerial!!! Next we went to the rock spot climbing and I climbed the highest because I had a light harness.

We also went to Roller Skating at United Skates of America. Where I skated until my legs were as wobbly as spaghetti! But I managed to skate the entire time.

On the day we went to Paw Sox it was so exciting because we got front seats and we got hot dogs for lunch!!

The next day I attended the Art Theater Program for one week and I got to be one of the sea creatures! On the day of the performance I really did well.

We also went to hope Highlands to show our special talent!! I did hula hooping and while I was doing it, I learned a couple of tricks.

On the last day of camp, me and my friends jumped on the bounce house and we also did flips and cool tricks. Later we went to do the camp song and Glen Hills won!! We were a little sad, but we cheered on. Later Kona Ice came and we had Kona.

Thus, I spent a nice summer camp this year 2016 at Cranston Park and recreation.
