95. Art Theatre program – Day Four

I was dropped off at the art theater program when the director told us to go to the cafeteria to practice our lines.

We sat in a circle and we took turns saying our lines. I was saying my line when our costumes had arrived. I was so excited to try them on.

When it was 11:10 we finally got to try on our costumes! When I got my costume I was so excited that I changed as quickly as lightning!

I came out and I was amazed! I told the person who had brought the dresses that I needed a safety pin. They inserted it in and it fitted perfectly!

Later we all had lunch and we talked about the show on Saturday. We went back to the stage and we practiced our dance moves as the songs played one by one.

It wasn’t long before they announced the morning announcements. They said that we did a really good job and if we all remembered our lines we would get “frozen peas or a cube of ice on a stick”!!

Later we waited for our parents to pick us up. I saw my mom and dad so they signed me out and I went home.

94. Summer Acrostics Poem

Swimming in the blue cool water
Under the deep blue sea
Mostly veiled from the blistering sun
Making sand castles along the beach
Eating delectable ice cream
Road trip around the mountains

93. Guess what I ate

My mom was making dinner and I smelled oh, what an amazing smell. It smelled like olive oil poured over the tomato sauce and meat. I also smelled the spice and pepper with mint basil leaves. I got more of the delicious smell as my mom brought it to the dining table.

I saw long yellow thin strands covered with red sauce. I also saw three round sphere shaped meat. I grabbed my fork and twirled around the strands around my fork I lifted it into my mouth and it tasted like saucy pasta with beef and a small amount of pepper and basil leaves.

If you have guessed if it were spaghetti and meatballs, then you are correct! Give yourself a high five!

92. Art Theatre program – Day Three

As soon as my parents dropped me off at the ‘Art theater’, I took a seat next to my friends who are Leah and Sarah.

We practiced our lines until they said that it was time for our acting scene’s. We got on the stage and we practiced our dance and songs.

It was hard work to remember all of the songs, but we did it. It wasn’t long before we went to eat lunch in the gym. I practiced my lyrics after I was done eating.

We went to the auditorium and got back on the stage. I danced for all of the songs. It was very tiring. I did my very best and continued the dance.

I also had to run back and forth inside a secret pathway to be in time for the dance.

We went back to our seats for the afternoon announcements. They told us to practice our dance and the songs.

After the announcements our parents came to pick us up. I saw my mom and dad so they signed me out in the red group.

I said bye bye to my friends and I went home.
