I
was dropped off at the art theater program when the director told us to go to
the cafeteria to practice our lines.
We
sat in a circle and we took turns saying our lines. I was saying my line when
our costumes had arrived. I was so excited to try them on.
When
it was 11:10 we finally got to try on our costumes! When I got my costume I was
so excited that I changed as quickly as lightning!
I
came out and I was amazed! I told the person who had brought the dresses that I
needed a safety pin. They inserted it in and it fitted perfectly!
Later
we all had lunch and we talked about the show on Saturday. We went back to the
stage and we practiced our dance moves as the songs played one by one.
It
wasn’t long before they announced the morning announcements. They said that we
did a really good job and if we all remembered our lines we would get “frozen
peas or a cube of ice on a stick”!!
Later
we waited for our parents to pick us up. I saw my mom and dad so they signed me
out and I went home.
