I was so excited for the
Finale of the play where we all show our parents what we have learnt in the
past week.
I hurried into the
gymnasium and asked Johnny, who was in charge of the costumes if I could have
my sea creature attire.
He gave it to me and I
went to the bathroom and changed. I went back to the gym and they did the makeup,
which really looked like a sea creature.
I hurried on stage and
got in places for the rehearsal. I danced to the song Under the Sea and Kiss the
Girl.
We all had to be real quiet because the
audience might hear us. I waited for the right moment for the song Under the
song because we have to come at the right time.
We performed all of the
songs and we were all very proud. The director told us to go in the cafeteria
so we could eat. But first we had to change into our clothes.
We didn’t wear our costumes
because the pizza might stain the costumes. I ate two pizzas and a bag of chips
and of course water.
I went ahead for dessert and I only got
fruits and one of the moms who were helping out said that I like to eat
healthy!
We went into our costumes
and got ready to start the real show. I went behind a curtain and waited for the
song Under the Sea.
The other characters were
doing the part where Ariel sneaks out on the surface and King Triton gets her a
babysitter and he chooses Sebastian.
When the song came I went
out and performed the dance routines as taught. I did splendid as always.
I also did the song Kiss
the Girl. I was looking around for my parents when they were sitting right
behind me!
We all went back on the
stage and we did our final bows. We went back to the gym to change. I changed
and got my stuff. My parents told me how well I did the play.
We left Hope Highlands
and in the car my parents told me to try to be a main character next year.
We all went home and I
know what to do next year.
