“Sally! Sally!” Where is that girl, thought Mrs. Grant. She was
about to fire her, when she heard a small panicked voice.
“I’m here, Mrs. Grant, I’m here!” Mrs. Grant sighed as she told
Sally to get her an espresso with salad.
Sally walked out the door, and something caught her eye. On the
TV, it reported that there was a helicopter going haywire. Kelly thought for a
second, and she decided to save the pilot, and whoever else was in the
helicopter. She was about to jump out the window, when she realized that she
wasn’t sure if she still had powers.
Her decision was to go to an empty alley to test out her powers.
She first wanted to test out her speed, and she discovered that she ran so fast
that her shoes were on fire! She quickly put it out using her breath, which was
so powerful, and tried to lift the car to test out her strength. With little
effort, she picked it up, and juggled the car! She was about to try her flying,
when she saw the helicopter spiraling out of control.
She flew up and held
the helicopter with one hand, and ascended down carrying the helicopter and
gently set it down. She was about to fly away, when she saw dozens of perplexed
faces. She turned away to fly back, but there was a microphone and a camera in
her face. She then worked out that she was being interviewed!! She escaped the
crowd and zoomed back to her house.
She excitedly turned
on the TV, and she was the star of the news. She was about to pop some corn,
when she heard the door unlock. Someone was coming inside. She swung open the
door and said,
“Jenna, you’re here!” Sally was expecting a welcome hug, but all
she got was a yell.
“WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, EXPOSING YOURSELF LIKE THAT!! YOU COULD
HAVE BEEN CAUGHT!!” screamed Jenna.
Sally was surprised and said “I don’t know what you mean. You took
care of me when I was little, but now I’m older and I get to make my own
choices.”
“I understand Kelly, but, you know that you can’t take it back now
that it’s out in the open that you have superpowers!!” said Jenna. Sally was
about to argue, but she was tired of fighting and she went to her room.
Four hours passed, and Sally heard a small knock at the door, she
was expecting an apology from her sister, but she just saw her sister... and
two big guys!!
“What are you doing!”
screamed Sally. Jenna looked like she was about to answer, but the two-people
grabbed Sally and injected something inside her!
“Where am I?” called Sally to her sister.
“You passed out. I’m sorry, I had to do this.” Jenna replied.
Jenna came over and untied her, and told her that she needed to stop using her
powers.
Astonished, Sally said “I want to help people, and, where am I?
What did you do?” Jenna sighed and Sally saw a dark figure enter the room.
He said, “Please be calm, Dr. Jenna is just trying to help you.” “Dr.
Jenna, wait… Jenna, is that you. Are you my sister or not?” asked Sally. “No,
but, I need you to stop using your powers.” replied Dr. Jenna.
Sally knew she had to escape, but how? She was wondering, when an
idea popped in her head. What if she used her powers to break free? Sally
looked around for a distraction, and she was in luck because Jenna… or “Dr.
Jenna” had left!!
She broke free and used her flying ability and strength to blast a
hole in the ceiling. She flew out the hole and saw mass destruction!! There were
fire and trash everywhere. She wondered what had happened when a thought
clicked in her head. She had heard about the uprising about a law, but she
didn't know it had gotten this bad. She wondered what to do when it dawned on
her!!
She was a superhero and she had to do something. She used her
super breath to stop the fire. She had hoped that it would vanquish every fire,
but it had only evaporated five. After a couple of hours, she decided to tackle
the trash. She used her strength to haul up every single piece of trash, and
she crushed it into a ball. She then hurled the ball into outer space using all
her energy. Sally was impressed at what her super powers could do. She had
gotten out of trouble and saved Earth!!
But, there was one tiny thing that Sally forgot to do. She went to
a store and returned to her office where her boss, Mrs. Grant, would be waiting
for her espresso and salad. Sally ran and then slowed down because she realized
that she would be fired, but she would just have to tell Mrs. Grant that she
had saved planet Earth from mass destruction.
