445. Spending vs Making

The effort made in spending money should be greater than the effort made in making that money.

435. Christmas Acrostic Poem

Children frolic about
Houses decorated with lights and trees
Reindeer cookies and decorations oh my!
Icy pathways and driveways are filled
Snow falls, slowly, filling up the droops and dowels
Today is a celebration
Merry merry people laugh about
Arranging presents around the tree
Singing happily

434. An Authors World

They take their pen and begin to write

Word afterword

Page after page

She builds my friends and foes

Tells me who to trust, who not to

I act out every word

Every letter and everything

I know not what happens next

For that's for her to decide

It’s not my place to decide what's next

As I am the character living in the author’s world

433. Never-Ending Cycle Poem

White dots cover my porch
Little by little
Spot by spot
The weather goes from sunny to cold
From wearing sunglasses to wearing scarves
When will it be sunny again, I wonder
Oblivious to the snowmen and sleds
But once summer comes
And the snow melts away,
Mosquitoes come to haunt me once again

431. Never-Ending Cycle

White dots cover my porch

Little by little

Spot by spot

The weather goes from sunny to cold

From wearing sunglasses to wearing scarves

When will it be sunny again, I wonder

Oblivious to the snowmen and sleds

But once summer comes

And the snow melts away,

Mosquitoes come to haunt me once again

430. Portal to Another World (Poem)

As I  open a portal to another world,

The places in front of me fade away

My eyes focus on the very first word

And there their story begins.

Through their mistakes, I learn what not to do.

And through their successes, I succeed.

The pages are turning faster now, the words running wild.

Soon the sun sets, the moon rises, and their journey is coming to an end.

I turn the last page, read the last word, their journey is given to others.

I take out a pencil, paper too, and begin my journey.
