112. Sam’s fortune teller

 - Harini, Grade IV

One fine morning, a boy named Sam, was in a little house getting ready to go to sleep. He went over to his bed, snuggled in, and he closed his eyes, suddenly, he had a dream that he was in a white lab and he had a lab coat on.

He was surrounded by lab equipment’s such as a beaker, retort, dropper, microscope, tongs, magnet, spatula, funnel, Bunsen Burner and many other things!! He was doing an experiment, and it was a rocket, that can withstand the power of the black hole!! It was a success!! Unfortunately, his dream had ended!

The next morning, he told his mother about his dream. His mother suggested that they would go to a fortune teller. At 7:00 AM they went to a famous fortune teller, and he looked the 10-year-old boy and told him, so, you had a dream about being a scientist and inventing a rocket that can withstand the power of the black hole.

“Yes,” said the boy. I have a vision that one day you will be a scientist! After visiting him, the boy told his mother to buy him all the things a scientist would have. Later, when Sam was a popular scientist, he went back to see the fortune teller.

When Sam saw him, he thanked the fortune teller for telling him that he would be a scientist, but the fortune teller laughed and said “there is no need to thank me, for I am your father” Sam was stunned when he heard those words.

When he finally put the pieces together, he said it all makes sense! I remember that when I was little my father wanted me to be a scientist! I should have known. Don’t worry, now you are an awesome scientist. You are as good as Joseph ListerJ.
