Taxes!
Taxes! Taxes!! I can't take it anymore!! Bills, Payments, Checks, Depts.!! I
think that it’s about time that I think about retirement!! I wish I was a kid
again, all that time playing, not worrying about the hard taxes, not having a
job, not doing the dishes!! I wish that I had some magical powers, so then, I
would make myself a kid again!!!
WOOSH!
Everything around me was a blur!! When it was finally over, I went over to the
kitchen to make bacon, eggs and pancakes, so I reached in the fridge to get the
eggs and the moment I closed the door, my breakfast appeared, and I didn't even
make it!!! I thought that it might have been pre-made so I went to the living
room to work on a story that I have been working on when I realized that my
computer was in the bedroom, I put down my food and saw that my computer was on
the chair... in the living room!
I decided
that it must have already been there, so I worked on my story, THE LIFE OF
KIDS. I just finished typing a page when I remembered that I had to exercise on
my bike! I charged my laptop and was about to go outside when I saw my bike
outside! I ran out and wondered how it got there when it finally struck me,
when I was thinking how cool it would be if I had magical powers, what if it
came true, what if I actually had magical powers!! There was only one way to be
sure, I thought of having the best car in the world! I waited for it to appear,
I looked outside, in my backyard but, I still couldn't find it! I decided that
all the things that happened to me, the pancake, computer and bike was just a
coincidence!! I went into the garage and decided to plant some flowers, so I
went into the garage to get my shovel when I noticed a brand-new car!! I then
knew that my powers were real so I thought what should I do with it. I
remembered that I wanted to be a kid so I wished, this I was a kid, but
everything seemed normal, the only thing that seemed weird was that everything
was taller than me, I went to the bathroom to get my mirror, when,”
AAAAAAHHHH!” I figured out that I was a kid! “YIPPEE” I screamed! I was so
happy, but then I wondered what I would do! I decided that since I was a kid, I
would go to school! On my way, I saw an ice cream shop, and I really wanted an
ice cream, but as I went over, I noticed that my pocket was empty! I screamed, someone
stole my wallet!!! I quickly realized that I was a kid, and that I wouldn’t
have a wallet! I was starting to think that being a kid had some limits! I was
just thinking my limits as a kid when I saw a Hospital! I remembered that i
needed to get my once a year flu shot and I went into the building and entered
the waiting room. I sat next to an old grandma who kept looking at me and
saying” You are not supposed to be here! Where are your parents”! I ignored her
and went into the doctor's room and the doctor came back and screamed” Is this
some kind of prank! Get out of here!” I went back outside and I was really sad
until I saw a park! I went running at full speed at the monkey bars when i saw
that some kids were on it! I sat on a bench and waited for them to get off,
but, they spent at least 1 hour on the monkey bars!! I got frustrated so I went
over to the monkey bars and started climbing. I realized that I made a mistake
the moment the 9th grader asked me what my name is. I told them “Um…. my name
is….um… Nicole?” They said, “Hi Nicole, want to play with us?” I said “Sure,
what do you want to play?” They said that they wanted to play hide and seek, so
I agreed. I thought that since I was an actual adult I wouldn't get lost., but
boy was I wrong!! I ended up going left instead of right and I ended up getting
lost!! I saw an old shaft and I went inside and saw a very old lady. I asked
her if I would be able to stay with her, but, she shooed me away because she
didn't like kids that much!! I ran back to my apartment to my own comfy couch
and T.V I grabbed my laptop and wrote how I never realized that being a kid is
hard work!! I went to bed, and I grabbed my phone to check my mails and I began
to face time my friend when I realized that didn’t have any friends because was
a kid, all my adult friends were now out of my reach!! I went to sleep and I
woke up 5 hours later!! I went to the bathroom when I saw myself in the mirror, I
looked like an adult!!
I then knew that
I had to be thankful for what I have and that even though I might be upset, I
should never wish for things for my own benefit. I grabbed my phone and began
checking my emails in complete peace.
